Organ Workshop at Day Murray Music

Dates: Friday, June 22nd 1:00pm - 3:00pm, Saturday June 23rd 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Please send an email to info@daymurraymusic.com specifying which day you would like to attend. The same material will be covered on both the Friday and Saturday workshops. Dr. Christiansen will be teaching from his book ,"From Pianist to Organist: An Organ Method for Beginners." The cost to attend the workshop is $10.00

Super Saturday, presented by the Salt Lake City chapter of the American Guild of Organists

Dr. Christiansen will be teaching classes on improvisation and will also be lecturing on Louis Vierne.

Dr. Christiansen's 'Lyric Symphony' was broadcast on Pipedreams from American Public Media on February 21st. The recording is from the Idaho premiere of the symphony, which was performed by renowned organist James Welch at BYU Idaho on March 12th, 2010. You can listen to it here.
